Where should I get coffee?”, “Best coffee shops in the East Village, NYC?” — through Gemini (2.5 Flash) and Perplexity (Sonar). One run each, twelve answers in total.

Mentions, counted by hand
Every shop the engines named in an answer was tallied. 57 distinct shops were named at least once; this table shows the 17 with the most mentions. A shop counts once per answer, however many sources the engine cited for it.

Citeable score
The 0–100 score blends mention count (70%) with engine spread — whether both engines named the shop (30%). “Recommended” means both engines named it, or one engine named it in three or more prompts. This is a small-sample scan, not our full 20-answer audit.
